June 12 is observed as the World Day Against Child Labour annually and actor Sai Dharam Tej took to social media to share his view on the same.
The Republic actor urged everyone to curb child labor across the world and wrote, “Childhood is period to look back on fondly & reminisce. It shouldn't be painful memories of being overworked & stressed. Let kids be kids. Let them eat, play & study so that they can contribute more meaningfully in the future. (sic)” He also shared a powerful representational image with it that reads, “Children are engineers of the future, Don’t condemn them to the present.
